During the Town's Council Meeting on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, Mayor Peggy R. Bell awarded a Certificate of Achievement to the student interns of Superhero Leadership Academy (SLA) for their hard work, dedication and completion of the summer program. The SLA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was started by Jean Tong-Noon and Nalisa Saati. Located at the Center for Social Change, the SLA focuses on at-risk youth to help them gain opportunities and knowledge so they can be the leaders of tomorrow.
